Student Organisations

At VUB, studying isn’t just about books and exams. It’s also the place where you meet people and discover new interests. Student associations play a big role in this, and whether you're into culture, debate, sports, partying, or simply enjoy being around others – there's always a group that suits you.

Student folklore

From “klakken” and St V to playful initiation rituals and cantuses full of singing – student folklore is alive and well at VUB. It’s a world full of symbolism, friendship, and a healthy dose of self-mockery. Whether you actively take part or are just curious: folklore is a unique part of student life that you should experience at least once.

Student Representation

VUB listens to its students. The main body for student representation is the Student Council, but there are also several other groups that defend student interests.
