Who are we?
We are the Alumni Office! From the VUB department of Marketing, Communication & Engagement, our enthusiastic team streamlines VUB alumni activities. We don’t do this alone: our national alumni associations and international alumni associations help us do this.
Because a sustainable future... is what our world needs."
What can we do for you?
In the alumni network we exchange as many experiences, ideas, and other forms of knowledge as possible. Learning from each other, we open doors to the future and stand stronger together in our jobs, daily lives, and the world. We refer to this exchange as a "learning network".
Therefore, we stay in touch with our alumni (and thus with you) through:
- a bi-monthly alumni newsletter containing the latest VUB news
- tailor-made benefits
- inspiring content (career inspiration, stimulating campaigns, news from your field via LinkedIn …)
- our Wall Of Faces, an online platform to track down other VUB alumni
- meet-up evenings and other networking events
- actions you can organise yourself
- and so much more!
Why do we do this?
Because alumni are our most significant ambassadors. You show what we stand for as a university. And if you do well and are socially engaged, that also reflects on us as an Urban Engaged University.
