What do you learn on the postgraduate master's programme? 

The objective of this one-year residency program is to provide clinical training to prepare candidates for Medical Physics Expert (MPE) certification in Belgium and a professional career in medical physics. The program fulfils the requirements from the Federal Agency for Nuclear Control (FANC). The program offers specialized courses in Radiology, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine, and entails an extensive clinical internship in one of these three domains within the medical departments of the University Hospital UZ Brussel.

The strengths of our MPE postgraduate programme 

This programme offers an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art clinical resources in a highly regarded academic setting. The clinical internship takes place within the medical departments of the University Hospital UZ Brussel. Students will have access to abundant resources in the fields of Medical Imaging and Radiation treatment, including state-of-the-art equipment such as spectral CT scanners, CT scanners with 4DCT capability, digital PET/CT scanners, CBCT imaging, dosimetry services, high-performance image processing and computing.  Radiation treatment services include, External Beam Radiation Therapy, 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3DCRT), IMRT, SBRT, and Flash.
