CurieuCity, the new can't-miss festival, invites you to explore the captivating world of art and science that will amaze Brussels all year long!

The first edition encompasses four unique events spread across four different districts of the city. After the stops in Molenbeek, Vorst, and along the canal, it's time for a fourth stop in the Marolles, where we invite you once again to discover the city throughout the entire weekend with a richly filled program.

The program includes a multitude of activities designed for an audience from 0 to 99 years old! Performances, walks, workshops, exhibitions, experiences, and meetings with scientists and artists await you.

What truly makes CurieuCity special is its community-oriented engagement, where the program is continuously reshaped in collaboration with local partners and organizations. These collaborations enrich the programming with a diversity of talents and perspectives from the community. Together, we are building a dynamic space for reflection, discovery, and co-creation.

About CurieuCity

CurieuCity is a new arts and science festival coming to Brussels this year. It offers scientific, artistic, and educational activities, partly in public spaces and in collaboration with local initiatives

CurieuCity cultivates curiosity and wonder in everything that surrounds us individually and collectively. It’s a festival that aims to combine the scientific rigor of universities with the experiential impact of art, STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), and socio-cultural action. Each edition of the festival addresses a question inspired by the reality of the neighborhood where it is located.

Each edition of the festival addresses a theme inspired by the reality of the neighborhood where it takes place. In Molenbeek, we explore the city of the future; in Vorst, the festival focuses on life in the Wiels Marsh neighborhood and biodiversity in the city; and in the Marolles, the emphasis is on STEM disciplines.
