The symphonic orchestra of VUB
The VUBorkest is an orchestra of enthusiasts, but because of the varied and original program and the wealth of atmospheres the orchestra manages to evoke on stage, the concerts are more than worth listening to! The program always includes one classical and one modern work, musical or film music, and regularly works by a Belgian composer. They also dare to venture into avant-garde music, and each year they put one of their musicians in the spotlight as a soloist. Conductor Jurgen Wayenberg leads the orchestra.
