The course

This course is for anyone who would like to learn Modern Greek. It is a beginner’s course which requires no prior knowledge of Greek.

The focus is on learning to understand and use familiar daily expressions and basic sentences which can be useful in a daily communication context. You learn to introduce yourself to other people, for example, and to communicate about things like the weather, where you live, hobbies, work, shopping etc. This covers speaking, listening, writing and reading.

The aim of the course is to reach the A1 level (In the Common European Framework of Reference, or CEFR).
For whom?
Anyone who wants to follow a basic course in Modern Greek. Prior knowledge is not needed.
Enrolment is open to VUB students, staff and external interested parties.

This is a basic course. No prior knowledge of Modern Greek is needed.
Attention: your registration is only valid after payment of your course fee. As soon as we have received your payment, we will send you an email in order to confirm your registration.
Please note that places are limited. Registration will be closed once the number is reached. This can happen before the end of the registration period.

Certificate
Participants who have completed the course successfully will receive a certificate from ACTO stating the level, the number of hours and the final result.
