We're very pleased and honoured to report that the VUB's Professor Edilbert Van Driessche has been awarded the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa in Agricultural Sciences at the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas (UCLV) in Cuba.
He has been awarded this honorary PhD because he has dedicated his life to promoting collaborative projects with the Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas - UCLV, and other educational institutions in the Global South.
