The film is aired on the occasion of World Water Day and the launch of the International Year of Glaciers' Preservation. UNESCO and World Meteorological Organization (WMO) are pleased to invite you to a special screening of the documentary The Last Glaciers, Journey to the Extreme, which offers a powerful visual exploration of the challenges facing these vital ice reserves. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion, highlighting the critical role of glaciers in our ecosystems and the urgent need for their preservation.
