The Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) invites everyone eager to sharpen their critical thinking skills to come and listen to these student speeches. Following the event, attendees can also take part in the Difference Day programme.
A platform for free speech and debate
Students not only have the opportunity to speak freely in front of an audience but also to refine their public speaking skills. To help them prepare, all participants receive a masterclass and a coaching session. The final outcome? A passionate five-minute speech delivered live at Bozar, as well as a shorter, professionally recorded version (90 seconds) in a studio.
Everyone is welcome to attend Student Speakers’ Corner on 2 May at Bozar and support our students as they take the stage!
An initiative for free expression
Student Speakers’ Corner is an initiative of the Brussels University Association (VUB & EhB). It forms part of Difference Day, an event organised since 2015 by VUB, ULB, EhB, and Bozar, in collaboration with numerous partners, to highlight the vital importance of freedom of expression and press freedom.
