Wonderlust - the intitiative in cultural diplomacy of the VUB
Wonderlust is the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB)’s initiative in cultural diplomacy, led by Prof. Dr. Hans De Wolf. The initiative was founded in 2010 upon invitation of the Brussels Capital Region and has both a national and international mission.
The guiding format that Wonderlust uses, is that of a well-founded exhibition with an academic dimension. The purpose is to continue the collaboration beyond the limitations of the event, making it possible to share insights from the expositions with as many residents of Brussels and Belgium as possible, starting from the assumption that art can connect and overcome contrapositions.
