The road to Glasgow

Is the climate an important subject for you? Do you want your voice to be heard on climate issues and join the fight against climate change? Then The Road to Glasgow is for you!

The Road to Glasgow is a project by 11.11.11 in the framework of the European DEAR project. Via this project, together with other young people, you’ll make yourself heard on the subject of the climate, from an intersectional perspective. You’ll work on large and small climate actions, putting your voice in the foreground. The first major moment that the project is working towards is, as the name suggests, the COP26 conference in Glasgow. The first event within that journey is the kick-off of The Road to Glasgow. With a core group of young people aged 16 to 26, you’ll debate, write recommendations and target politicians who will be present at the end of the event. You’ll have an important role, because these politicians will include your recommendations in their future policy. It’s therefore the ideal time to have your say on the climate! If you take part in The Road to Glasgow, you’ll develop skills to make the world more sustainable in a way that takes into account your personal impact, now and in the future. For yourself and for others, here and elsewhere in the world. In other words, you’ll make a lasting and important difference. So don’t hesitate, join The Road to Glasgow!
