With its programme 'Becas Presidente de la Republica' the Ministry of Education of Peru provides full-time finances for:
- Master studies at VUB for Peruvian professionals with both high academic performance and low income, for 1 to 2 academic years.
- PhD studies at VUB for Peruvian professionals with both high academic performance and low income, for up to 4 academic years.
The focus is on Science and Technology, plus Education.
Who can apply for the scholarship?
Master degree/PhD degree
- Citizenship: Citizens from Peru, who are living in Peru at the time of application.
- Study fields:
- Priority study fields: Biology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, camelids, material science and technology, environment science and technology, earth sciences, forestry, food technology, ICT, physics, chemistry, mathematics, pharmacy, biochemistry, engineering (all).
- Non priority study fields: supply chain, health sciences, public administration, public policy, public management, economy, education.
- Required degree: Bachelor's degree Master's degree
