Outdoor tennis will become Pickle ball in the summer of 2025

VUB is investing in a new Martial arts expertise hall in the zone where we used to have our tennis courts outdoor.  Once the build of this new hall is finished we plan to install some pickle ball courts in the remaining outdoor surface in this zone on campus.  Check it out in the summer of 2025!

Rent the outdoor tennis court (LT1-2-3)

As a VUB sports cardholder, do you want to come and play tennis with your sports partner(s)? Check the availability and come to our reception to book and pay.

Rental agreement

As a group, school or club, do you want to make use of the outdoor tennis court on a weekly basis for a period of time? Submit your request here.

Availability

Check the availability of the outdoor tennis court.

For individual rentals by the hour, at least one of the users must have a valid sports card. You can request individual rentals a maximum of 3 times.

For user agreements a sports card is not required.

On weekdays  
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: € 10.9/hour
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.: € 19.1/hour
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: € 10.9/hour
5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: € 19.1/hour

 

On weekends and public holidays  
9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.: € 37.1/hour

 

*In order to benefit from a discounted rate, at least half of the players must be VUB or EHB students or staff.  Reduced rates for VUB or EHB students are charged from Monday to Thursday between 8 and 22h and on Friday until 17h.  In the weekend, starting on Fridays at 17h and ending on Sunday at 21h) the normal rate is applied for all.  With the "last minute exception" as a rule : on the day itself VUB students can rent the remaining available facilities at Student Peak rate.

Indoor tennis

Hit a ball in sports hall L4-5-6. There are three indoor courts (PU surface) suitable for doubles or singles.
