Maria Isabel Rojas

Maria Isabel Rojas is an expert in international human rights law, she carried out field work in Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador and Bolivia. She promotes the defence of cultural rights of indigenous and tribal peoples in the Inter-American human rights system.  She is a PhD researcher at the VUB Faculty of Law, conducting Transdisciplinary Community - Based Research (TCBR) in Bolivia and Colombia.

Gerrit Loots

Gerrit Loots is Emeritus Professor at the VUB Department of Sociology and coordinator of the Research Unit on Qualitative Research in Action (QRIA). He is involved in Transdisciplinary Community-Based Research (TCBR) in Bolivia and Colombia.

Laura Vandewynckel

Laura Vandewynckel is an interdisciplinary artist intertwining film, theatre and puppetry. She is conducting a PhD research at VUB and RITCS, investigating the potential of automata (puppets, robots, and kinetic sculptures) as therapeutic and activist tools.
